Ordering procedure


  • Ordering of chemicals is done once per week, acceptance date for orderings is Friday 12.00am

  • All chemicals have to be ordered by the chemical management (S. Lüthi)

  • Please find out if your chemicals are already available at the chemical storage - chemicals on stock

  • The ordering procedure depends on supplier, order value and language of supplier:

    1. For favored suppliers - VWR-Merck, Alfa Aesar and Sigma Aldrich - please use the availible ordering document: order of chemicals


    2. All other suppliers:

  • for order values <2000CHF:

    • a) for german speaking suppliers use the order of chemicals (quote the price!)

    b) for all others use the Bedarfsmeldung an Einkauf (has to be stamped by the chemical manager, S.Lüthi)

  • for order values >2000CHF: Bedarfsmeldung an Einkauf (has to be stamped by the chemical manager, S.Lüthi)


  • Each order has to be signed by the responsible person for chemicals at your group (list of responsible persons for chemicals)
